The Dormant Gems Association ONLUS – ONLUS Association for the protection of fertility in cancer patients and patients with chronic disabling diseases (from now on GEMME) operates according to the principles of correctness, transparency and lawfulness.
Therefore pursuant to art. 13-14 of European Regulation 16/679 and art. 13 Legislative Decree 196/2003, informs all interested parties of the processing of personal data actually carried out.

1. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED BY THE HOLDER AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING

A. DATA COLLECTED THROUGH NAVIGATION IN THE WEBSITE

Following consultation of the website of the association www.gemmedormienti.it, data relating to identified or identifiable natural persons may be processed: personal data are collected and processed for purposes strictly related to the use of the Website, the registration processes therein and to request information.

Following the consultation of the Site, the data of the interested parties can be processed, indicated below:

This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow identification of the interested parties. The personal data voluntarily provided by the interested parties of the Site are processed for the following purposes:

The personal  data of the interested parties are kept only for the time necessary to provide feedback to the requests made by the interested parties. At the end of the requested and / or necessary activity, the data will be kept for administrative purposes for a period not exceeding ten years, without prejudice to any specific legal obligations.

• provision of voluntary activities;

• fulfillment of legal obligations.

data are processed for the entire duration of the association relationship and upon its termination are kept for merely administrative purposes for a period not exceeding ten years, without prejudice to specific legal obligations.

The collected data are kept limited to the time strictly necessary for the acquisition of the deed of donation, in any case the paper and / or digital archive, except for specific legal obligations, is deleted within ten years.

E. DATA COLLECTED ON THE OCCASION OF VISITS AT THE HEADQUARTERS

• Personal data (name, surname, identification document, telephone, e-mail address, etc …) and health data that may reveal information relating to your state of health, will be provided by you during the “Acceptance” phase, ie in the time of your explicit request for health care at our facility.

• We inform you that, taking into account the purposes of the processing as illustrated above for the purposes of health care, the provision of data is mandatory; failure to provide makes it impossible for the interested party to access health services, while failure to consent to the processing of data for any purposes pursued (e.g. communication of the health status of the person concerned to family members) does not prevent access to health services.

• If the person who provides the data is under the age of 16, this treatment is lawful only if and to the extent that this consent is given or authorized by the owner of parental responsibility for which the identification data and copy of the identification documents.

Purpose of the Treatment
Personal data are processed for the sole purpose of operating as specified in the statute and are used for the related administrative – accounting, tax and legal activities. The data will not be used for purposes other than those detailed above.

The data provided are processed as long as the interested party and his family members use the service, and in any case the paper and / or digital archive, unless otherwise required by law, is deleted within ten years.

F. DATA ACQUIRED FOR PUBLICATION IN THE “TESTIMONIALS” SECTION

The personal data processed for publication on the GEMME webpage constitute a spontaneous action by the interested parties, and are acquired by e-mail, letter or in any other way; in particular, the data processed may consist of:

• photos.

In this case, the paper and / or digital form sent to the association together with the publication request, legitimizes the processing of the data contained therein and acts as consent to the processing of the personal data of the interested parties.

Purpose of the Treatment
GEMME collects the data exclusively to spread and make known its work, giving importance to all the activities and / or organizations that in any way participate or contribute to the voluntary activity of the association.

Duration of storage of personal data
The data provided are processed exclusively for the purpose requested by the interested parties, failure to consent to such processing may result in the non-use of the data provided by the interested parties. Following the publication on the GEMME website, the data are kept exclusively for administrative purposes for a period not exceeding ten years, without prejudice to any specific legal conservation obligations.

2. METHODS OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data are processed both with paper and electronic tools, by dedicated personnel in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and EU Regulation 2016/679, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
The necessary security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit use of the same and unauthorized access, in order to allow access only to appointed persons or managers, in compliance with the provisions of the law in force.
Personal data acquired in paper and / or digital format may be stored and archived at Gemme’s operational headquarters.

3. COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF DATA

Without prejudice to the communications made in fulfillment of legal obligations, all personal data collected and processed may be communicated for the purposes described above to the staff appointed by Gemme.  In any case, no data is subject to disclosure.

4. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

The privacy legislation (articles 7-10 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and articles 12-22 of EU Regulation679/2016) guarantees the right to be informed about the processing of data concerning all interested parties, the right to access the data at any time and request its integration and correction. If the conditions provided for by the law are met, the interested party can also boast the right to the deletion of data, to the limitation of their treatment, to the portability of the data and to the opposition to the data processing for specific purposes.
If the processing of personal data is based on the consent of the interested party, he has the right to revoke the consent given.

If the interested party deems his rights infringed, it is also allowed to lodge a complaint before the Guarantor for the protection of personal data pursuant to art. 77 European Reg. 16/679.

5. PRIVACY POLICY UPDATE

In order to guarantee the protection of the privacy of natural persons, this Policy may be subject to modifications. 
All interested parties are therefore invited to periodically review the changes made to this information notice, in compliance with the law.
