Partnerships

Among the activities of Gemme Dormienti Onlus there is social promotion, which is also carried out through various collaborations with other associations, organizations and foundations of the Third sector and all other realities and individuals who share the statutory purposes.

Also of great importance is the dialogue with the institutions and the active participation with public centers and health authorities in order to stimulate initiatives and measures that are of interest to the rights of cancer patients or patients suffering from rare diseases and / or other chronic diseases.

This attitude to network represents a peculiar characteristic of Gemme Dormienti, which has always been at the forefront of correct health information to improve the quality of care and the quality of life of patients and their families. It is also important for the association to contribute to combating fake news in health matters through the dissemination of material and reports from authoritative sources.

Gemme Dormienti is one of the current 3 national reference centers in Italy of the international consortium at the University of Michigan.
